This Privacy Policy describes how BBXLabs ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the Ampy mobile application ("Ampy" or the "App"), published on the Apple App Store. The short version: your health data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework, the App requires no account, includes no advertising SDKs and no third-party trackers, and we never sell your data. There is no cloud sync and no background data transmission.
01About Ampy
Ampy is a personal tracking and organization tool for GLP-1, peptide, and growth hormone therapies. It helps you log doses, manage treatment plans, rotate injection sites, track water and weight, and stay consistent with the help of a mascot buddy. It does not provide medical advice, prescribe, recommend, or endorse any substance, dose, timing, or combination, and does not supply or sell any product. Always consult a licensed healthcare professional. Use Ampy only to log treatments prescribed to or legally obtained by you.
02Data we store locally
- Treatment plans: the compounds, doses, units, frequencies, schedules, and notes you configure.
- Dose entries: the doses you log, including amount, injection site, date, time, and notes.
- Weight entries: the weight values and dates you log, plus your goal settings.
- Water entries: the water intake amounts and times you log, plus your daily goal.
- Symptom & wellbeing entries: symptom ratings (nausea, appetite, fatigue, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, headache) and overall wellbeing scores you log, plus notes.
- Profile & settings: your optional name, weight unit (kg/lbs), water unit (ml/oz), notification preferences, XP, levels, and earned badges.
- Streak state: your daily tracking streak, computed from your logged actions.
All of the above is stored locally on your device in Apple's SwiftData on-device database. It does not leave your device. There is no iCloud sync, no cloud backup, and no server-side storage of your logged data.
03Data we do not collect
- We do not require an account, email address, or phone number to use the App.
- We do not collect your name, address, or any contact details. (Your name is optional and stored only on your device.)
- We do not read, view, or have access to the contents of your logged data.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone.
- We do not operate our own servers to store your health data.
- We do not include advertising SDKs (no Google AdMob, no Meta Audience Network).
- We do not include advertising SDKs or analytics SDKs (no Google Analytics, no Firebase Analytics, no Mixpanel).
- We include Firebase Crashlytics (Google) for crash reporting. Crashlytics automatically collects crash reports and anonymised diagnostic data (device model, OS version, app version, stack traces, and a pseudonymous Crashlytics installation UUID) and transmits them to Google's Firebase servers. This data is used solely to identify and fix bugs. It is not linked to your identity, not used for advertising, and not sold. You can opt out by disabling Crashlytics in Settings → Privacy inside the App (if available), or by contacting us at legal@bbxlabs.us.
- We do not use cross-app tracking, device fingerprinting, or advertising identifiers.
04No advertising, no analytics trackers
Ampy does not display ads and does not include any advertising SDK (no Google AdMob, no Meta Audience Network). There are no analytics trackers (no Firebase Analytics, no Mixpanel). The App includes Firebase Crashlytics (by Google) for crash and error reporting — see section 03 for details. No SDK watches your usage behaviour, tracks your screens, or transmits your health data. If we add any additional third-party SDK in a future update, this Policy will be updated and the SDK will be disclosed here in advance.
05Optional integrations
5.1 Notifications
Ampy uses Apple's UserNotifications framework to deliver local dose, water, and weight reminders that you configure. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device. No push token is sent to BBXLabs, and we do not operate a push server. You can grant or revoke notification permission at any time in iOS Settings → Ampy → Notifications.
5.2 Home screen widgets (Premium)
Ampy's home screen widgets (a Premium feature) show your next dose, water intake, weight, and streak directly on your device's home screen. This information is read from the App's local SwiftData database and is not transmitted anywhere. Widgets use Apple's WidgetKit framework and App Groups to share data between the app and the widget extension — all on your device.
5.3 Apple Health (HealthKit)
The current version of Ampy does not integrate with Apple Health or HealthKit. Your health data is not shared with the Health app. If we add optional HealthKit support in a future update, it will require your explicit permission and will be disclosed here.
5.4 iCloud
The current version of Ampy does not use iCloud sync or iCloud backup. Your data stays only on the device where you logged it. If we add optional iCloud sync in a future update, it will use your private iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit, BBXLabs will not be able to read or access the contents, and the feature will be disclosed here.
06Purchases
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple's StoreKit and the Apple App Store. BBXLabs receives only a confirmation of the transaction (such as the product ID and purchase date) for the purpose of granting the purchased entitlement. We never receive your full payment card details — those are handled exclusively by Apple. Premium features are unlocked only while an active subscription or lifetime purchase is associated with your Apple ID.
07Permissions requested by the App
- Notifications (optional): used to deliver dose, water, and weight reminders that you configure. Granted via the standard iOS prompt; revocable in iOS Settings.
- App Groups (internal): used to share your local SwiftData database with the home screen widget extension (Premium). No data leaves your device.
Ampy does not request: location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, Bluetooth, tracking (ATT), or network access for data transmission. The App functions fully offline.
08Children's privacy
Ampy is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App stores data only on the user's device and does not transmit data to us, we have no way of knowing whether a minor is using the App.
09Data retention and deletion
Because your data is stored locally on your device, it remains until you delete it within the App (Settings → Delete All Data) or until you uninstall the App. Both actions permanently and irreversibly remove all locally stored data. There is no server-side copy to delete because we never had one.
10Your rights
Depending on where you live (EU/EEA, UK, California, and other jurisdictions), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data. Because Ampy stores data locally and does not transmit it to BBXLabs, you can exercise these rights directly inside the App or by uninstalling it. For any data we may hold (such as purchase confirmations or support emails), contact us at legal@bbxlabs.us.
11Security
Ampy's local-first design keeps your data on your device, which minimizes the attack surface. We do not operate servers that store your logged data. SwiftData files are protected by iOS's built-in data protection. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect any data we do process (such as purchase confirmations handled by Apple).
12International users
BBXLabs is based in Europe. When we process personal data (such as purchase confirmations), we do so in accordance with the GDPR. Because your health data never leaves your device, the GDPR's data-transfer rules do not apply to it.
13Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, we will also notify you within the App or on the App's listing page. If we add any third-party SDKs, cloud sync, or HealthKit integration in a future update, we will update this Policy in advance of that release.
