These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Pepza mobile application ("Pepza" or the "App"), published by BBXLabs ("we", "us", "our") on Google Play (Android) and the Apple App Store (iOS, coming soon). By downloading or using Pepza, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not download or use the App.
01What Pepza is — and what it is not
Pepza is a personal tracking and organization tool. It helps you log treatments, manage vials, set reminders, and review your own progress.
Pepza is not a medical device, medical software, or a source of medical advice. It does not:
- provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment;
- prescribe, recommend, or endorse any substance, dose, timing, or combination;
- supply, sell, or facilitate the purchase of any substance or product;
- replace the guidance of a licensed healthcare professional.
Always consult a licensed healthcare professional before starting, changing, or stopping any treatment. Use Pepza only to log treatments that have been prescribed to or legally obtained by you.
02License to use
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, BBXLabs grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Pepza for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
03Your responsibilities
- You agree to use Pepza only for lawful purposes.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter.
- You agree to use Pepza only to log treatments prescribed to or legally obtained by you.
- You agree not to use Pepza to plan, document, or facilitate any unlawful activity.
- You agree not to enter data on behalf of another person without their consent.
- You agree not to misuse, reverse-engineer, redistribute, or resell the App or any part of it.
04Purchases and subscriptions
- Pepza offers in-app purchases, including monthly and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase.
- On Android, purchases are processed by Google Play Billing and managed via RevenueCat. On iOS (coming soon), purchases are processed by the Apple App Store and managed via RevenueCat. The respective platform's own terms apply to each transaction.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, via your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
- Refunds are governed by Apple's and Google's respective refund policies.
- We may change pricing at any time. Any price change takes effect only at the next renewal and after notice to you.
- Premium features are unlocked only while an active subscription or lifetime purchase is associated with your Apple ID or Google account.
- On iOS, these Terms incorporate Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.
05Your data
You retain ownership of any data you enter into Pepza. The App stores your data locally on your device. On iOS (coming soon), optional iCloud sync uses your private iCloud account — BBXLabs cannot access the contents. BBXLabs does not have access to your data unless you explicitly share it with us (for example, by emailing an export to support). See the Pepza Privacy Policy for details on third-party SDKs (Firebase, AdMob, RevenueCat) used on both Android and iOS.
06Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Pepza in a way that could harm BBXLabs, its users, or third parties;
- attempt to access, alter, or damage systems, accounts, or data that do not belong to you;
- remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices in the App;
- use the App in combination with any unauthorized third-party service that claims to provide dosing or medical guidance.
07Intellectual property
Pepza, its design, branding, code, and content are owned by BBXLabs and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. "Pepza" and the Pepza logo are trademarks of BBXLabs. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use the BBXLabs or Pepza trademarks except as required to identify the App.
08Disclaimer of warranties
Pepza is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or accurate, or that it will meet your medical or health needs.
09No medical relationship
Use of Pepza does not create any doctor-patient, provider-patient, or other healthcare relationship between you and BBXLabs. BBXLabs is a software company, not a healthcare provider.
10Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BBXLabs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, health, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of Pepza, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. You use the App at your own risk.
11Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold BBXLabs harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of Pepza, your violation of these Terms, or your use of any substance logged in the App.
12Changes to the App and these Terms
We may update, modify, or discontinue Pepza or any feature at any time, without notice. We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the country in which BBXLabs is established, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
14Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
15Third-party services
Pepza integrates with platform services such as Google Play Billing (Android), Apple App Store (iOS, coming soon), Health Connect (Android), Apple HealthKit (iOS, coming soon), and Apple iCloud (iOS, coming soon). On both Android and iOS, Pepza also uses Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, and Cloud Messaging), Google AdMob (free version only), and RevenueCat (purchase management). Use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. BBXLabs is not responsible for the practices of those third-party services.
