Drivza Privacy Policy.

Last updated — August 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how BBXLabs ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the Drivza mobile application ("Drivza" or the "App"), published on the Apple App Store. The short version: Drivza stores your data locally on your device, requires no account, and we never sell your data. You can optionally back up your data to your own iCloud Drive. The free version displays ads via Google AdMob; Premium removes all ads.

01About Drivza

Drivza is a personal car maintenance tracking tool. It helps you log cars, monitor expenses, view statistics, and stay on top of maintenance. It is not a medical device, car maintenance cessation program, or health solution. Always consult a licensed healthcare professional for advice about your vehicle's condition.

02Data we store

  • Maintenance records: the trips, fuel fills, and maintenance events you log, including timestamps, mileage, and costs.
  • App settings: language, theme, currency, daily limit, car brand, fuel price, and similar configuration.
  • Statistics: mileage, fuel economy, cost breakdowns, and maintenance summaries derived from your logs.

All of the above is stored locally on your device using the App's local database (SwiftData, stored in a shared App Group container). It does not leave your device unless you explicitly use the export or iCloud backup feature.

03Data we do not collect

  • We do not require an account, email address, or phone number to use the App.
  • We do not collect your name, address, or any contact details.
  • We do not read, view, or have access to the contents of your logged data.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone.
  • We do not operate our own servers to store your car maintenance data. The only cloud storage used is your personal iCloud Drive, and only if you explicitly enable iCloud backup (see section 5.4 below).

04Advertising (free version only)

The free version of Drivza displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve and measure ads, subject to Google's privacy policy and Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework.

4.1 What AdMob may collect

  • Device identifier (IDFA): only if you grant App Tracking Transparency permission. Used to deliver personalized ads and measure ad performance.
  • Device model, OS version, language, and timezone: used to serve relevant ad formats.
  • IP address (truncated): used to infer approximate location for ad targeting.
  • Ad interaction data: impressions, clicks, and conversions, used to measure ad effectiveness.
  • Coarse location: derived from IP, never GPS-based.

4.2 App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

  • If you grant ATT tracking permission, AdMob may use your advertising identifier (IDFA) to deliver personalized ads.
  • If you deny ATT permission, AdMob serves only contextual (non-personalized) ads and may not use IDFA.
  • You can change ATT permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Drivza.
  • You can also reset your advertising identifier in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → Reset Advertising Identifier.

4.3 Premium removes all ads

Premium users see no ads at all. Upgrading to Premium disables all advertising and AdMob is not loaded. No advertising identifiers are collected or shared when Premium is active.

4.4 Third-party links

Ads displayed by AdMob may link to third-party websites or apps. BBXLabs is not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.

4.5 Relevant privacy policies

05Optional integrations

5.1 Home screen widgets

Drivza's home screen widgets show your daily car count and time since last car directly on your device's home screen. This information is read from the App's local database and is not transmitted anywhere.

5.2 Data export (Premium)

If you use the data export or backup feature (Premium), the App generates a JSON or PDF file on your device containing your data. You decide where to save or send that file. BBXLabs does not receive a copy.

5.3 Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics

Drivza uses Firebase Crashlytics to receive anonymous crash reports that help us fix bugs. Crashlytics collects device model, OS version, and crash stack traces — never your car maintenance data. Firebase may collect anonymous usage analytics. See Firebase Privacy.

5.4 iCloud backup (optional)

If you choose to use the iCloud backup feature, Drivza saves a copy of your maintenance records as a JSON file in your own iCloud Drive container (iCloud.us.bbxlabs.drivza). This file is stored in your personal iCloud account and is governed by Apple's iCloud Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. BBXLabs does not have access to your iCloud container, does not transmit your data to our servers, and cannot read your backup files. You can delete iCloud backups at any time from within the App or by managing your iCloud storage in iOS Settings. If you do not use iCloud backup, no data is stored in the cloud.

06Purchases

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple's StoreKit and App Store billing. BBXLabs receives only a confirmation of the transaction (such as the product ID and purchase date) for the purpose of granting the purchased entitlement. We never receive your full payment card details — those are handled exclusively by Apple.

07Permissions requested by the App

  • Notifications: used to deliver maintenance and service reminders that you configure (optional).
  • App Tracking Transparency (optional): used only to allow personalized ads in the free version via Google AdMob. Premium users are not asked.
  • iCloud (optional): used only if you explicitly enable iCloud backup. Allows Drivza to save backup files to your personal iCloud Drive. No data is shared with BBXLabs.

08Children's privacy

Drivza is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

09Data retention and deletion

Because your data is stored locally on your device, it remains until you delete it within the App or until you uninstall the App. Uninstalling Drivza removes all locally stored data. If you have created iCloud backups, those remain in your iCloud Drive until you delete them from within the App or via iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage.

10Your rights

Depending on where you live (EU/EEA, UK, California, and other jurisdictions), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data. Because Drivza stores data locally, you can exercise these rights directly inside the App or by uninstalling it. For any data we may hold (such as purchase confirmations or support emails), contact us at legal@bbxlabs.us.

11Security

Drivza's local-first design keeps your data on your device, which minimizes the attack surface. We do not operate servers that store your car maintenance data. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect any data we do process (such as crash reports and purchase confirmations).

12International users

BBXLabs is based in Europe. When we process personal data, we do so in accordance with the GDPR.

13Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, we will also notify you within the App or on the App's listing page.
