These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Cigless mobile application ("Cigless" or the "App"), published by BBXLabs ("we", "us", "our") on the Apple App Store and Google Play. By downloading or using Cigless, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not download or use the App.
01What Cigless is — and what it is not
Cigless is a personal quit-smoking companion and tracking tool. It helps you track your smoke-free streak, log cravings, view health recovery milestones, journal your journey, and stay motivated.
Cigless is not a medical device, medical software, or a smoking cessation program. It does not:
- provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment;
- prescribe, recommend, or endorse any method for quitting smoking;
- supply, sell, or facilitate the purchase of any product;
- replace the guidance of a licensed healthcare professional.
The health recovery timeline is based on public WHO and CDC data for educational purposes only. Always consult a licensed healthcare professional for advice about smoking, health, and quitting. Cigless is a tracking and motivation tool, not a health solution.
02License to use
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, BBXLabs grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Cigless for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
03Your responsibilities
- You agree to use Cigless only for lawful purposes.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter.
- You agree not to misuse, reverse-engineer, redistribute, or resell the App or any part of it.
- You agree not to enter data on behalf of another person without their consent.
04Purchases and subscriptions
- Cigless offers in-app purchases, including monthly ($4.99) and yearly ($29.99) auto-renewable subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase ($39.99), processed by Apple's StoreKit and App Store billing (iOS) or Google Play Billing (Android), and managed via RevenueCat.
- Apple's or Google's own terms apply to the transaction, including subscription renewal and refund policies.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, via your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
- Refunds are governed by Apple's App Store or Google Play refund policies, as applicable.
- We may change pricing at any time. Any price change takes effect only at the next renewal and after notice to you.
- Premium features are unlocked only while an active subscription or lifetime purchase is associated with your Apple ID or Google Account.
- On iOS, these Terms incorporate Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.
05Your data
You retain ownership of any data you enter into Cigless. The App stores your data locally on your device. BBXLabs does not have access to your data unless you explicitly share it with us (for example, by emailing an export to support). See the Cigless Privacy Policy for details on third-party SDKs (Firebase, AdMob, RevenueCat) used by the App.
06Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Cigless in a way that could harm BBXLabs, its users, or third parties;
- attempt to access, alter, or damage systems, accounts, or data that do not belong to you;
- remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices in the App;
- use the App in combination with any unauthorized third-party service.
07Intellectual property
Cigless, its design, branding, code, and content are owned by BBXLabs and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. "Cigless" and the Cigless logo are trademarks of BBXLabs. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use the BBXLabs or Cigless trademarks except as required to identify the App.
08Disclaimer of warranties
Cigless is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or accurate, or that it will meet your medical or health needs.
09No medical relationship
Use of Cigless does not create any doctor-patient, provider-patient, or other healthcare relationship between you and BBXLabs. BBXLabs is a software company, not a healthcare provider.
10Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BBXLabs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, health, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of Cigless, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. You use the App at your own risk.
11Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold BBXLabs harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of Cigless or your violation of these Terms.
12Changes to the App and these Terms
We may update, modify, or discontinue Cigless or any feature at any time, without notice. We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the country in which BBXLabs is established, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
14Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
15Third-party services
Cigless may integrate with platform services such as Apple StoreKit, Apple Widgets, Google Play Billing, Android App Widgets, and Google AdMob (in the free version). The App also uses Firebase (Analytics & Crashlytics) and RevenueCat for purchase management. Use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. BBXLabs is not responsible for the practices of those third-party services.
